Processing over 5 million of their product each week, the company supplies high-quality products to supermarkets and businesses across Ireland and beyond. The company is committed to excellence, teamwork, and equal opportunities, operating from its modern facility in Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan.

Your new role

As Production Floor Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of the production area. You will lead and support a team of General Operatives across multiple production lines, ensuring all activities—from sorting and packaging to labelling and assembly—are carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with food safety and health standards. Your responsibilities will include monitoring output and quality, coordinating shift schedules, liaising with departments such as Quality and Maintenance, and ensuring accurate documentation. You will also be hands-on in training, coaching, and performance reviews, while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the floor.

What you'll need to succeed

To thrive in this role, you will need previous supervisory experience in a production, food manufacturing, or FMCG environment. A strong understanding of food safety regulations, HACCP, and GMP is essential, along with skills in production planning, staff coordination, and quality control. You should be a confident leader with excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Flexibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to health and safety are also key. Formal training in Supervisory Management, Food Safety, or Health & Safety is desirable, and access to your own transport is preferred.

What you'll get in return

In return, you’ll join a supportive and forward-thinking company that values its people and promotes a clean, safe, and organised working environment. You’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced food production setting, with scope for professional development and the chance to contribute to a growing, family-oriented business. The role will be paid hourly at a rate of €19.50, with time and a half for any overtime worked. Hours of work will be 8am-5pm, Monday to Thursday.
