Your new role
- Driving future product strategy by translating business strategy into product initiatives
- Proactively gathering feedback from internal and external sources, customers, market trends, and competitors
- Creating high-level product requirements for the product owner to build detailed requirements
- Working closely with the product owner to help detail high-level requirements and support delivery sprints
- Coordinating and prioritising new requirements against the product roadmap
- Supporting product marketing with product differentiators and messaging
- Working cross-functionally to manage the full product life cycle
- Planning and executing product launches across all functions and customer activities
- Maintaining a balanced view of product-related change considering operational impact, technical complexity, and commercial context
- Contributing to continuous improvement within ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO27001 parameters
What you'll need to succeed
- Highly effective communication skills include strong presentation abilities, effective meeting facilitation, active listening, and the ability to simplify complex technology discussions.
- Capacity to develop strong internal cross-functional relationships and connections with senior stakeholders and executive sponsors
- A well-defined personal brand and industry presence with the ability to establish rapport with C-Suite individuals
- Exceptional organisational skills to manage tasks, schedules, and priorities efficiently in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Commercial acumen to translate functional capabilities into revenue targets driven by customer acquisition and retention goals
- Ability to create, define, and articulate compelling product vision and strategy
- Experience aligning activities to business objectives, revenue growth, market penetration, and customer satisfaction
- Skills to identify growth opportunities in new and mature markets and build partnerships
- Talent for creating high-level user stories and defining product requirements
- Capability to be the voice of the product inside and outside the organisation, including at customer meetings and industry events
- Expertise in working with domain experts to ensure region-specific requirements are understood and integrated
