Your new role
As a Procurement Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in evaluating specifications, identifying and selecting suppliers, and ensuring cost efficiency, quality standards, and timely delivery of goods and services. You’ll negotiate contracts, prepare and award RFQs, and serve as a key contact for supply chain issues. Your expertise will help align sourcing strategies with customer requirements, while you collaborate across internal departments, suppliers, and customers to achieve organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and lead times
  • Prepare, distribute, and award RFQ blankets
  • Review customer specifications and select suppliers
  • Develop market intelligence and maintain supplier relationships
  • Resolve supply chain challenges and ensure compliance
  • Align sourcing strategies with customer metrics

What you'll need to succeed
  • Experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Power BI experience preferred).
  • Strategic thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Organisational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and facilitate meetings.
  • CIPS qualification is desirable, but not essential.
