Your new role
As Procurement Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Sourcing & Purchasing: Identifying and selecting suppliers to meet business needs, ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.
  • Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to maintain optimal availability.
  • Purchase Order Management: Creating accurate POs aligned with budgets and procurement policies.
  • Supplier Communication & Relationship Management: Liaising with suppliers to confirm orders, resolve issues, and maintain strong partnerships.
  • Cost Control & Replenishment Planning: Minimising holding costs and planning timely reorders to meet demand.
  • Negotiation & Compliance: Supporting contract negotiations and ensuring adherence to procurement policies and legal standards.
  • Reporting & Collaboration: Maintaining accurate records and working closely with internal teams to align procurement with business goals.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Proven experience in a similar procurement role, ideally within the manufacturing sector.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and strong IT literacy.
  • A solid understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
  • A proactive, accountable mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and customer service.
  • CIPS or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
