Your
role
  • Are you interested in the sourcing and contract lifecycle? Do you know what good commercial value looks like? Are you incredibly organised with an eye for detail? Are you a stickler for getting things right?


  1. We are looking for someone like you to:


  • Support the Commercial Approval Forum process for client contracts with third party suppliers, ensuring that the sourcing-related procurement policies and procedures are followed by the key stakeholders and sourcing requests are approved in the clients’ database.
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc reports required by business partners and supply chain management
  • Support the ongoing tracking, validation and reporting of Supply Chain savings, including data validation, savings methodology application, and reporting cycles.
  • Build stakeholder relationships to validate savings assumptions and ensure alignment with commercial strategies
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of savings tracking tools and processes, including automation initiatives and documentation updates
Your team
By joining Supply Chain in client, you will become a member of a vibrant group of people, whose main focus is concentrated on the client sourcing and contract lifecycle. Our team governs a portfolio of third-party vendor deals and contracts within different categories across the client and ensures that contracts are sourced and executed in line with client policies and strategy, giving the best commercial value to the client. The Deal Governance Team is a part of Supply Chain, a function in Group Real Estate and Supply Chain (GRESC). Supply Chain was created to enhance value identification and delivery within GRESC, supporting the client with its third-party vendor management as well as with its Real Estate and Outsourcing footprint.
Your expertise
  • Previous experience using SAP/Oracle systems would be an advantage. Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of contracts and associated supply chain/procurement processes and experience in working with approval systems and related defined workflows
  • Ability to liaise with internal clients and manage relationships while being assertive to ensure completion of stakeholder tasks, a strong communicator
  • Good analytical and data reporting skills with strong attention to detail, comfortable performing repetitive tasks
  • Comfortable working independently, as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ability to challenge and verify savings assumptions provided by stakeholders, ensuring alignment with commercial terms and contractual commitments.
  • Familiarity with savings categorization (e.g. Cost reduction, Cost avoidance).
  • Very good written and spoken English
