Your new role
As Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing all procurement and contractor requirements. From outsourced operational services to materials supply and capital investment projects, you’ll lead procurement activity that ensures value for money, compliance, and strategic alignment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing procurement strategies for maintenance and construction services.
  • Leading end-to-end procurement processes including tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and contract award.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal governance frameworks.
  • Managing supplier relationships and performance against KPIs and SLAs.
  • Collaborating with project managers and maintenance teams to align procurement with timelines and budgets.
  • Driving continuous improvement, innovation, and responsible sourcing to support sustainability and social value goals.
  • Providing expert procurement advice to senior stakeholders and monitoring market trends to inform decisions.
What you’ll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
  • Proven experience in procurement management within maintenance, construction, or facilities services.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex procurement projects and manage supplier performance.
  • Excellent negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and contract management skills.

  • Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts is essential.
