Procurement Manger - Social Care, Public Health & Education

The Procurement team ensures that all goods and services provided by the body are on time and of the best quality, to ensure that the local community have the support needed. Your new role

This role focusses on the Health & Social Care category, where you will lead procurement activities, manage supplier relationships, and ensure value for money. Your expertise will drive the development and implementation of procurement strategies that support their commitment to delivering high-quality health and social care services. You'll work on a variety of procurement activities, from call offs, to mini-competitions & full tenders, as well as working closely with service leaders and stakeholders to understand requirements, manage expectations and mitigate contractual risk.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Expert working knowledge of PCR15 / PA23, with a variety of experience in framework call offs, mini-competitions & full tenders
  • An understanding of people service categories, mainly Social Care, Public Health & Education
  • Relevant qualifications (CIPS, MCIPS or degree educated)
  • Astute stakeholder management and influencing skills
