Procurement Manager – 12‑Month FTC

Your new company

This is an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Manager to step into a high‑impact role supporting the next generation of engineered products. Working within a fast‑paced R&D environment, you’ll take ownership of procurement for New Product Introduction (NPI) programmes, drive supplier strategy, and lead the negotiation of Long‑Term Supply Agreements with key partners across a global supply chain.

You’ll play a central role in bringing new technologies to life, shaping supplier selection, driving contracting strategy, and ensuring the supply base is ready to support innovative, early‑stage product development. Working closely with engineering, programme management and product development teams, you’ll guide procurement activity from initial concept through to contract signature.

Your new role

  • Leading end‑to‑end procurement activity across NPI programmes
  • Developing and executing contracting strategies aligned to programme needs
  • Negotiating and implementing Long‑Term Agreements (LTAs) and SLAs
  • Selecting and onboarding suppliers to support new product lines
  • Engaging early with strategic suppliers to secure timely NPI delivery
  • Mitigating risk through strong contractual and supply chain frameworks
  • Partnering closely with engineering, programme management and global supply chain functions

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in NPI, batch manufacturing or prototype procurement
  • Strong ability to negotiate and manage long‑term supply agreements
  • Comfortable working with technical stakeholders across engineering and programme teams
  • Proven experience in supplier selection and onboarding
  • Strong influencing skills and the confidence to challenge when needed
  • Comfortable committing to a 12‑month FTC

What you'll get in return

Great opportunity to join an internationally recognised organisation which is at the forefront of innovation. You will be able to be involved in exciting projects where you can see the results of your work.
