Hays is seeking a dedicated Detox substance misuse Nurse to work in South London.
We are urgently looking for an experienced Locum Substance Misuse/Detox Nurse to join our client’s team in Bromley. If you are interested, please read the details below:
- Location: Bromley, South London.
- Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (4 days/30 hours per week)
- Dates: ASAP 3 months (Temporary Contract will be reviewed after 3 months)
- Pay Rate: £33/hr (PAYE) or £35/hr (Umbrella)
Your new role
To undertake Health and Wellbeing assessments
To undertake Nurse Alcohol Assessments and determine safe detoxification
To provide screening for BBV, through dry blood spot testing
To refer to specialist inpatient services
Essential Qualifications and Experience
Current NMC registration
Previous experience in a similar role at a Drug Treatment service, forensics, prison or other similar background
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
