Hays Healthcare is recruiting band 5 Locum Prison Nurses for ongoing and ad hoc work at HMP Forest Bank.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to and attend emergency calls within the prison.
Work in the prison reception, completing initial assessments and supporting new arrivals.
Hold nurse-led clinics, delivering high-quality care to prisoners with a range of healthcare needs.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the safety and well-being of all patients.
Requirements:
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC registration.
- Previous experience in a prison and valid clearance is a must (prison clearance is not provided)
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Recent ILS training is desirable
We offer:
- Competitive hourly rates: £25.40 PAYE or £29.50 Umbrella (no LTD payments)
- Ongoing locum work with flexible shifts.
