Teaching Assistant – Harrogate Area
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Three weeks initially, with the possibility of extension
Pay: Competitive, based on experience

I’m working with a lovely primary school in the Harrogate area who are looking for a flexible and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team as soon as possible. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a Reception setting and thrives in a warm, nurturing environment.

About the Role
This is a short-term placement to begin immediately, lasting for a minimum of three weeks, with the potential for the booking to be extended depending on need.
The role will include:

• Supporting pupils in a Reception class
• A mixture of morning sessions and full-day cover
• Assisting with child-led play, early phonics, and classroom routines
• Helping to create a positive, engaging and supportive learning environment

The school is friendly, community‑focused and offers a welcoming atmosphere for staff and pupils alike.

• Experience working in EYFS or a primary school setting

• Someone who can quickly build rapport with young children
