Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding new role in a welcoming Sefton primary school? We are currently recruiting a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
About the Role
As a Primary TA, you will:
- Support classroom learning and work closely with the class teacher
- Deliver small-group interventions and 1:1 support
- Assist with phonics, literacy, numeracy and general classroom engagement
- Help create a positive, nurturing learning environment
- Contribute to pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a committed individual who has:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant (TA) in a school setting
- A valid DBS certificate (Enhanced Child Workforce) or willingness to apply for one
- Relevant qualifications or training (e.g., TA Level 2/3, CACHE, school-based experience)
- Strong communication skills, patience and confidence supporting young learners
