Training Specialist Opportunity in Belfast and Glasgow


We are seeking multiple Training Specialists to join our Field UK Applications team within our Technical Services department. This 12 month contract field-based role offers a unique opportunity to deliver world-class training support for our Near Patient Care products, while contributing to an outstanding customer experience.

This position involves training across multiple Trusts for the implementation of our blood glucose and ketone solutions. There will be regular travel, including some overnight stays and occasional unsocial hours to meet business requirements. You must own or have access to a car.

In this role, you will:


● Deliver Expert Training: Provide and record product training for customers, ensuring compliance with our standards.

● Customer Support: Handle training-related enquiries, from product installation to offering occasional troubleshooting and technical assistance as needed.

● On-Site Activities: Support hardware/software implementations during product launches.


Who You Are:


You are a highly motivated Registered Nurse or Experienced Medical Device Trainer, with a passion for training and technical support, ready to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare sector.


Essential Qualifications and Skills:

● Demonstrates depth of scientific knowledge, both theoretical and practical, in a medical setting.

● Strong communication, time management, and decision-making skills.

● Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently manage responsibilities.

● Full UK/EU (or equivalent) driving license.

● Passport for potential overseas training.

● Fluent in written and verbal English.


Desirable Skills and Experience:

● Degree-level education or equivalent.

● Background in Nursing (Registered Nurse preferable) or Training

● Knowledge of Primary/Secondary Care organisations within the NHS, ideally in a hospital environment.

● Experience in designing and delivering high-quality, customised training programmes aligned with patient pathway strategies.

● Familiarity with medical analytical systems, quality assurance, and customer relationship management tools.
