Location: Gloucester
Hours: Full-time / Part-time
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £90–£110 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Gloucester. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils who require tailored support to thrive academically and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social-emotional needs.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) in collaboration with teachers and SENCOs.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes independence and confidence.
  • Support pupils with emotional regulation and personal care when necessary.
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff and parents.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience working with children with SEN in a school or care setting.
  • A calm, patient, and resilient approach to supporting children.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
  • A genuine passion for inclusive education and child development.
