We require a Primary Teaching Assistant for an "Outstanding" primary school in Brent. Hays is working closely with a primary school that require regular cover which offers flexibility. The school aim to provide an enriched, exciting global curriculum to encourage independent thinking and encompass teaching about a wide variety of cultures and faiths.

The primary team can offer bookings a day in advance as well as on the day.

About your role as a Primary Supply Teaching Assistant

As a Primary Teaching Assistant you will have strengths within primary education. You will be responsible for providing support and assistance to the pupils, whether it be in a group, SEN or 1:1 setting as well as supporting the class teacher. Your other duties will include:
• To build and maintain successful relationships with pupils, treat them consistently, with respect and consideration.
• To help promote independent learning.
• To help reinforce learning.
• To help students record work in an appropriate way.

What you will need to succeed

** Experience working within a Primary classroom
** Good behaviour management and organisational skills
** SEN experience
** You must hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a DBS through Hays
