**SEN Teachers – Leicestershire**

Hays Education is currently seeking a dedicated SEN Primary Teacher on a full-time basis to start next term! The school is located in north Leicestershire and provides education to pupils who have struggled in mainstream education due to their special educational needs. These students have cognitive and learning needs.

Your new role

Hays are seeking an experienced primary teacher to work either as a Year1/2 Teacher or Year 3/4 Teacher. The pupils you will be working with are aged between 11–14 years of age. This is a full-time position, to start next term.

As a SEN Teacher, you will:

- Deliver engaging and tailored lessons to support students with diverse learning needs

- Work collaboratively with SENCOs, teaching assistants, and specialist teams to provide the best learning environment

- Adapt teaching methods to suit education plans (EHCP) and promote inclusive education

- Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff to support student development


What you'll need to succeed

To excel in this role, you should:

- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Have experience working with pupils with SEN, including PMLD and SEMH
- Demonstrate a commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning atmosphere
- Possess strong communication and classroom management skills
