Your new role

As a year 1 Teacher you will be responsible for:

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil progress.
  • Use formative and summative assessments to inform planning and next steps.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and school events.

What you'll need to succeed

We are seeking a teacher who:
  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • Has experience teaching in KS1, ideally in Year 1.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Brings energy, creativity, and a genuine passion for teaching.
