Long term supply for Key Stage Two primary teacher in Warrington
Your new school
This school is a busy two-form entry primary school in Warrington who will be looking for an experienced Key Stage Two teacher to take responsibility for one of their Year 6 classes in January.
Your new role
The role is to start in January 2025 and will be initially until Easter, with the possibility of being extended or becoming permanent for the right candidate. You will be responsible for teaching a mixed-ability class of Year 6 pupils, some of whom have special educational needs. You will need to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners and prepare them for their SATs and transition to secondary school.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you must have:- QTS or equivalent qualification
- Experience of teaching Year 6 and working with SEN pupils
- Excellent subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
- High expectations of behaviour and achievement
- A passion for teaching and learning
- A commitment to professional development and safeguarding
