    £162 - £223 per day dependent on experience

Experienced EYFS Teacher required for a long term contract starting in January 2025

Hays Education are currently supporting a school in Runcorn to recruit an experienced EYFS teacher for a long-term contract in their reception class.

The school are welcoming applications from ECT's and experienced teachers with EYFS experience. The position is initially for 1 term, but could be extended for the rest of the academic year.

Your new role

As an Early Years Class Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping young minds during their crucial early years. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
•Planning and delivering engaging activities that promote children’s development across all areas (physical, social, emotional, and cognitive)
• Creating a safe and stimulating learning environment
• Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Assessing and tracking children’s progress
• Collaborating with other staff members to enhance the overall nursery experience

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role you will need to have:

  • Qualified teacher status.
  • An in depth knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
  • Experience using delivering phonics interventions.
  • An up-to-date DBS or willingness to get one.
  • The ability to provide an inspiring, engaging and safe learning environment.
  • Satisfactory references.
