Are you an experienced or newly qualified EYFS Teacher looking to join a supportive, inclusive, and high-quality early years setting? A well-established, local authority nursery school and children’s centre in Lambeth is seeking a passionate EYFS Teacher to join their dedicated team from September 2025.
Your New School
This teacher-led nursery school is part of the Lambeth Nursery Schools’ Federation and provides early education for children aged 2 to 4 years. The setting is open year-round and offers a rich, play-based curriculum in a nurturing and inclusive environment. With a strong community ethos and a stable, experienced staff team, the school is committed to giving every child the best possible start to their educational journey.
As an EYFS Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, child-centred learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Work closely with families and carers to support children’s development.
- Collaborate with a skilled and supportive team of early years professionals.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning across the setting.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent early years teaching qualification.
- A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
- A nurturing, reflective, and creative approach to teaching.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
