EYFS teaching opportunity in Chester - September start

Do you have a passion for working with young children and supporting their early learning and development? Do you have a QTS and experience working in the early years' foundation stage? Do you want to join a dynamic and innovative primary school in the Chester area?
If you answered yes to these questions, then we have the perfect opportunity for you!
We are looking for an outstanding and creative EYFS teacher to join a highly rated primary school in Chester. You will work alongside the EYFS lead to provide high-quality support for pupils in our reception class. You will help to create a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment where children can explore, discover and grow.

As an EYFS teaching assistant, you will:
  • Work with children to deliver learning programmes and activities that are aligned with the EYFS curriculum and the school’s vision and values.
  • Encourage children to interact with others and engage in play-based learning.
  • Assist with the general pastoral care of the children, including helping them with their personal, social, emotional and physical needs.
  • Prepare and maintain classroom resources and equipment and assist the children in their use.
  • Provide regular feedback on children’s progress and development.
  • Liaise with parents and carers to ensure that they are informed and involved in their child’s learning journey.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Qualified teacher status.
  • an in depth knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
  • Experience working within an Early Years setting, this is useful but not essential.
  • Experience using phonics.
  • An up to date DBS or willingness to get one.
  • The ability to provide an inspiring, engaging and safe learning environment.
