EYFS teaching opportunity in Chester - September start

We are looking for an outstanding and creative EYFS teacher to join a highly rated primary school in Chester. You will work alongside the EYFS lead to provide high-quality support for pupils in our reception class. You will help to create a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment where children can explore, discover and grow.
As an EYFS teaching assistant, you will:
- Work with children to deliver learning programmes and activities that are aligned with the EYFS curriculum and the school’s vision and values.
- Encourage children to interact with others and engage in play-based learning.
- Assist with the general pastoral care of the children, including helping them with their personal, social, emotional and physical needs.
- Prepare and maintain classroom resources and equipment and assist the children in their use.
- Provide regular feedback on children’s progress and development.
- Liaise with parents and carers to ensure that they are informed and involved in their child’s learning journey.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Qualified teacher status.
- an in depth knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
- Experience working within an Early Years setting, this is useful but not essential.
- Experience using phonics.
- An up to date DBS or willingness to get one.
- The ability to provide an inspiring, engaging and safe learning environment.
