Your new role
As a Plumber at HMP Garth, you’ll be responsible for carrying out a range of plumbing maintenance and repair tasks across the site. You’ll work closely with the facilities team to ensure all systems are safe, compliant, and fully operational.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform planned and reactive plumbing maintenance
- Diagnose and repair faults in water systems, drainage, and sanitation
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Work collaboratively with other trades and site staff
- Maintain accurate records of work completed
What you'll need to succeed
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience in plumbing maintenance and repair
- Knowledge of water regulations and compliance with standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience in a secure or public sector environment is a plus.
