- Assistant Manager/Manager Roles: Ideal for candidates with general practice backgrounds (e.g., accounts production or audit) who have some corporate/business tax exposure and are eager to specialise in this area further
- Senior Manager/Director Roles: Perfect for those with significant corporate and business tax expertise, ready to take on leadership, client management, and business development responsibilities.
Our client works with a diverse portfolio of companies, from small businesses to groups with turnovers of hundreds of millions. This variety ensures you’ll gain valuable experience working with owner-managed businesses (OMBs), international subsidiaries, charities, LLPs, and more.
Depending on your level of experience, your role will include:
- Supporting or leading on tax compliance and advisory projects.
- Collaborating closely with senior team members and partners.
- Providing exceptional client service.
- Supervising and mentoring junior staff.
- Contributing to business development initiatives.
What you’ll need:
- Professional qualifications (ICAEW/ACCA/ATT) or equivalent experience. CTA qualification would be advantageous; study support if required.
- Relevant experience in a professional services environment, with exposure to corporate and business tax.
- Strong ICT skills (Excel, Word); experience with Alphatax or CCH software is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- A willingness to travel within the region as needed (driving licence and access to transport essential).
