Corporate and business tax professionals are sought of all levels, for a fast-growing Accountancy firm, with offices across East Anglia. These roles can provide you with a fantastic opportunity for career development within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

  • Assistant Manager/Manager Roles: Ideal for candidates with general practice backgrounds (e.g., accounts production or audit) who have some corporate/business tax exposure and are eager to specialise in this area further
  • Senior Manager/Director Roles: Perfect for those with significant corporate and business tax expertise, ready to take on leadership, client management, and business development responsibilities.

Our client works with a diverse portfolio of companies, from small businesses to groups with turnovers of hundreds of millions. This variety ensures you’ll gain valuable experience working with owner-managed businesses (OMBs), international subsidiaries, charities, LLPs, and more.

Depending on your level of experience, your role will include:
  • Supporting or leading on tax compliance and advisory projects.
  • Collaborating closely with senior team members and partners.
  • Providing exceptional client service.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior staff.
  • Contributing to business development initiatives.

What you’ll need:
  • Professional qualifications (ICAEW/ACCA/ATT) or equivalent experience. CTA qualification would be advantageous; study support if required.
  • Relevant experience in a professional services environment, with exposure to corporate and business tax.
  • Strong ICT skills (Excel, Word); experience with Alphatax or CCH software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
  • A willingness to travel within the region as needed (driving licence and access to transport essential).
