Personal Assistant to UK Business Directors | Coalville | Office-based | Up to £41,000 DOE | January start

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading logistics and distribution organisation as a Personal Assistant to the UK Business Directors. Hays is supporting this well-known company as this is a pivotal role, providing direct support to two Senior Directors and the wider leadership team, ensuring the smooth running of operations at the highest level.


Your new role

  • Acting as the right-hand support to senior directors, managing complex diaries and coordinating key meetings
  • Providing seamless administrative support to the wider leadership team across multiple business units
  • Taking accurate minutes, maintaining member files, and ensuring efficient document control
  • Consolidating reports and stakeholder requirements to agreed timescales
  • Supporting AGM planning and attendance (once annually, occasional weekend)
  • Delivering exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Offering ad-hoc support to directors and partners across the business

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • A confident, professional telephone manner and excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Experience supporting senior leaders or board-level executives
