Temporary Personal Assistant to the Headteacher, based in South Yorkshire.

This temporary opportunity has arisen to support the Headteacher during a key period of the academic year.

Your new role

As the PA to the Headteacher, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of the Headteacher’s office. You will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-level administrative and organisational support
  • Managing the Headteacher’s diary, meetings, and correspondence
  • Acting as a key liaison between the Headteacher and internal/external stakeholders
  • Preparing reports, presentations, and documentation to a high standard
  • Supporting with confidential matters and maintaining discretion at all times
  • Coordinating school events and assisting with governance and compliance tasks
This is a varied and fast-paced role that requires a proactive and highly organised individual.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a PA, EA, or senior administrator, ideally within an educational setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital tools
  • A proactive, flexible, and discreet approach to work
  • A genuine interest in supporting the leadership of a school community
We will need to be able to obtain references to cover the last 2 years as a minimum and you will need to be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check if you don't already have a DBS on the update service.
