Your new role
As a Personal Tax Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the preparation and review of personal tax returns, managing junior team members, and ensuring compliance with UK tax regulations. Working within a newly formed, collaborative team, you will review tax computations, uphold quality standards, and leverage advanced technology to streamline processes. You’ll act as a second-line contact for clients, provide tailored solutions to complex challenges, and identify opportunities for value-added advisory services.

Your new role

Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Leading, managing, and inspiring your team to achieve strategic objectives.
- Monitoring performance against KPIs and driving continuous improvement.
- Conducting detailed quality reviews and resolving escalations efficiently.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to clients and enhancing satisfaction.
- Ensuring compliance with technical, quality, and risk frameworks.
What you'll need to succeed
- A recognised accountancy and/or tax qualification (e.g., ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA, CA) or equivalent experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of professional standards and the ability to support colleagues and clients.
- Confidence in training others and developing bid and pricing proposals for non-complex work.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
