A thriving Hackney primary school is seeking an experienced and passionate Year 6 Class Teacher with additional responsibility as PE Lead. The school is well-regarded for its inclusive ethos, strong leadership, and commitment to pupil progress.
Your new role
- Teach Year 6 pupils, preparing them for KS2 SATs and transition to secondary school.
- Lead PE curriculum across the school, promoting health, fitness, and teamwork.
- Collaborate with colleagues to raise attainment and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and proven experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6.
- Strong behaviour management skills to create a positive learning environment.
- Passion for Physical Education and ability to lead whole-school initiatives.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
