PE Teacher | Maternity Cover | Fixed – Term 1 Year | Pay to Scale | Angmering

About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated PE Teacher to join this school on a maternity cover contract. They are looking for an enthusiastic teacher who can inspire students, promote a love of physical activity, and deliver high-quality PE lessons across key stages.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Plan, prepare, and assess in line with curriculum requirements.
- Promote physical wellbeing, teamwork, and positive attitudes to sport.
- Contribute to extracurricular clubs, fixtures, and whole-school sporting events.
- Maintain excellent behaviour management and create a positive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student progress.

What We are Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for sport.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
