Temp Senior Payroll Specialist Role

Your New Company
This organisation is a fast-growing, international business operating across multiple EMEA jurisdictions. With payroll processes at different stages of maturity, the company is investing in greater consistency, control, and scalability across the region. You’ll be joining a lean, collaborative HR function with strong visibility and the opportunity to shape how payroll is delivered across EMEA.

Your New Role
As the EMEA Payroll Specialist/Manager, you will take full ownership of end-to-end payroll processing across multiple EMEA countries. This is a hands-on role suited to someone comfortable operating autonomously, with no requirement for close supervision or extensive onboarding.
Reporting directly into the HR Director, you will be responsible not only for accurate payroll delivery but also for reviewing, mapping, and standardising payroll processes across the region. You’ll act as the payroll subject-matter expert, working confidently with internal stakeholders and external providers to drive improvements and ensure compliance.

What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • Proven, hands-on EMEA payroll processing experience across multiple countries
  • Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, controls, and statutory requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in process mapping, redesign, and standardisation
  • Ability to operate independently in fast-paced or less-structured environments
  • Confidence working directly with senior stakeholders, including reporting into an HR Director
  • Experience managing or partnering with outsourced payroll vendors
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with minimal need for guidance or “hand-holding”
What You’ll Get in Return
  • A high-impact role with real autonomy and ownership
  • Direct exposure to senior leadership and influence over regional payroll strategy
  • The opportunity to build and standardise EMEA payroll processes from the ground up
  • A competitive salary and benefits package, aligned to experience
  • A role suited to someone who enjoys change, responsibility, and visible results
