Payroll Officer – 6 month temp – Caerphilly
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team on a 6-month temporary contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for a payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with accuracy and attention to detail.
You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of payroll services, supporting both employees and the wider HR/Finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing end-to-end payroll for employees in line with company deadlines
- Ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations and statutory requirements
- Managing payroll queries and providing clear, timely resolutions
- Supporting with pension contributions, tax, NI, and other deductions
- Assisting with payroll reporting and audits as required
- Collaborating with HR and Finance to maintain accurate employee records
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- Proven experience in payroll processing (end-to-end)
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliance
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to handle queries professionally
- Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
