Payroll Manager job in Bristol ( 6 month fixed term contract)
What the role will involve
The successful candidate will take the lead in delivering end-to-end payroll for 1,900 employees on a 4-weekly cycle. This is a hands-on, strategic role where you'll own the payroll process, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement.

What you'll be doing:
- Full ownership of payroll and reporting
- Managing payroll systems and liaising with HR and Finance
- Ensuring accuracy, timelines, and compliance with legislation
- Leading audits and implementing best practices
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience managing large-scale payrolls
- Strong technical knowledge of UK payroll legislation
- Attention to detail and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
This is a hybrid role, a very short walk from Bristol Temple Meads.
