Payroll Manager - Ipswich - £34-40K
Your new company
My client is seeking an experienced payroll professional with a proven track record of running a high volume payroll to join them in the job role of Payroll Manager at their Ipswich office. (Please note there is a closing date of Wednesday 11th November for a final shortlist submission on Thursday 12th am)
Your new role
Working in a supportive payroll and HR team, you will be responsible for managing the payroll team (1-2) and ensuring the efficient processing and running of the payroll including:
- Responsibility for the accurate and efficient processing of the monthly payroll, ensuring that payments are made on time- Managing and mentoring payroll colleagues
- Responding to and resolving employee queries around their salary, tax, NI etc
- Payroll and month-end reconciliations
- Starters and leavers payroll administration
- Year-end payroll processes, and internal and external customer queries in relation to this
- Pension administration
- System and processes review and improvement implementation
- Building strong working relationships with colleagues across the organisation
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience of managing and running a high volume payroll end to end, alongside a proven track record of building and managing stakeholder relationships. Experience of managing or supervising small payroll teams would be highly beneficial.
