Payroll Manager opportunity near Tonbridge Wells

Your new company

An increasingly growing business is looking for a Payroll Manager on a permanent basis with a salary paying up to £55,000. They are looking to add to their finance team where you'll be joining them in an office based near Tonbridge Wells working on a Hybrid Model.

Your new role

Your new role will see you reporting directly to the HRD, where you'll be asked to fulfil various responsibilities.
Responsibilities will include:

  • Performing the day-to-day payroll processing activities, including dealing with joiners, leavers, salary increases, parental pay and other typical payroll tasks
  • Responsible for sending payroll related data to the local payroll vendors for payroll processing, adhering to the payroll calendar deadlines.
  • Management of 2+ staff
  • End to End Payroll processing for a payroll of over 2000 people
  • Responsible for payroll audits, internal and external agencies in collaboration with correct stakeholder

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed you will need to have worked at least 3 years working in a Payroll Managerial function as you’ll be expected to hit the ground running. You will have strong attention to detail, a high level of speed & accuracy, strong communication skills, and a strong hunger to succeed. You’ll ideally have Advanced Excel skills & understanding of the payroll function and knowledge including legislation and tax, a demonstrated understanding of all aspects of multi-country payroll processes; including, but not limited to, benefits, taxes, social security and time and attendance & knowledge of ADP IHCM.
