I am currently working on behalf of an established organisation based in County Antrim area to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join their existing finance team.

Your new role

As a vital member of our dynamic finance team, you’ll take charge of several key responsibilities:

• Crafting and presenting weekly financial statements for review by the Management Accountant.

• Curating and disseminating weekly KPIs to our broader management team, driving data-informed decisions.

• Skilfully handling weekly bank reconciliations, ensuring financial accuracy.

• Collaborating closely with the wider Finance Department, providing essential support.

• Stepping up to cover payroll duties when needed, contributing to the smooth operation of the organisation

What you'll need to succeed

For this role we are seeking an individual with an accounting technician qualification or someone who is part-qualified as an accountant. If you’re adept at Excel, thrive under pressure, and possess meticulous attention to detail, this opportunity is tailor-made for you. Excellent communication skills are a must.
