Accounts Payable Co-ordinator (30 hours)

Salary: £22,400 take-home pay (FTE £28K)

About the Role:
Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger, ensuring timely payments to suppliers, and maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely supplier payments
  • Manage daily banking processes, including BACS & Bankline payments
  • Maintain multi-currency bank accounts and perform SAP reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with VAT and external reporting requirements
  • Complete monthly VAT reports and Aged Creditors
  • Resolve supplier queries and assist with month-end reconciliation
  • Support year-end audit processes
  • Maintain relevant SAP master data
  • Assist with cost-oriented projects and general office functions
  • Manage employee expenses using CONCUR software

About You:
  • University or vocational qualification in accounting, with practical experience
  • Experience in the FMCG (Food) industry is essential
  • Strong knowledge of VAT & Intrastat
  • Proficient in IT, particularly Excel
  • Experience with multi-currency cash-flow forecasting and bank reconciliation
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Excellent communication skills, both domestic and international
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Proactive, with a "can-do" mentality and self-motivation
  • Team player with a passion for food and a willingness to challenge and be challenged
