Part-time Business Support Assistant in Stirchley, ASAP start

Your new company

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Business Support Assistant to join the Adoption Team in a temporary role until March 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and looking to contribute to a meaningful area of work.

Your new role

This role is offered on a hybrid basis, with the expectation of working one day per week in our Stirchley office. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the team’s day-to-day operations.
Key responsibilities include overseeing the team inbox and responding to queries, handling incoming and outgoing posts, performing accurate data entry, and raising purchase orders and invoices. You will also support the coordination and distribution of adoption packs, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
As mentioned previously, this is a part-time position, and we are looking for someone to complete 3 days per week, either Monday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Friday, and will be based in Stirchley.


What you'll need to succeed

If you’re a proactive individual with strong administrative skills and a passion for supporting others, we’d love to hear from you. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be confident using
Microsoft Word and Excel, as these tools are essential for managing documents, data entry, and supporting the team’s administrative processes. The role also requires a Basic DBS check, which Hays will put into process for you.
