It is a subsidiary of an international transport company. They operate services throughout London and are currently expanding their business and legal team.

Your new role

You will be the second legal hire, you will closely collaborate with the General Counsel. Your primary responsibilities will involve supporting the workload during an upcoming project. Specifically, you’ll focus on reviewing contracts, working with suppliers, conducting due diligence, managing transactions, and assisting with audit compliance related to GDPR. Initially, this role is for three months, but it may be extended based on the project timeline.

What you'll need to succeed

• At least 2 years experience working as a Paralegal in London, either for a Law Firm or in-house.

• A strong legal background, enabling you to effectively negotiate and review corporate and commercial contracts.

• Previous experience communicating with stakeholders and external counsel.

• Familiarity with GDPR.

• Ideally, prior exposure to audit contracts.
