Temporary to Permanent PA - Professional Services

Your new company

Hays are recruiting for a temporary to permanent PA, based in Manchester City Centre. This position is to start the first week of Jan 2026. We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to join a dynamic professional services environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative and communication skills to support senior stakeholders and contribute to the smooth running of the office.

Your new role

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage diaries, organise meetings and conference calls, book meeting rooms, and arrange catering.
  • Prepare accurate documents including letters, agendas, reports, and presentations.
  • Coordinate travel and accommodation, ensuring cost efficiency.
  • Process expense claims and assist with financial administration tasks.
  • Maintain CRM systems and ensure data accuracy. You are dealing with highly confidential information, discretion is essential.
  • Support business development activities, including event coordination and client engagement.
  • Provide reception cover and assist with office facilities when required.
  • Collaborate with the administration team to share tasks and cover absences.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience as a PA, EA, or Secretary is required; strong organisational and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail, proactive approach, and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll get in return

This role is paying £18.80 including holiday pay, salary of up to £30,000, hybrid working when fully trained and comfortable. Flexible start and finish times. Excellent working environment.
