About the Role
As Operations Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in ensuring smooth day‑to‑day delivery across fast‑track and complex construction projects ranging from £1m to £30m. The company operates multiple divisions – including Main Contracting, Special Projects and Fast Track – each requiring exceptional coordination, planning, and operational oversight.
Oversee the operational delivery of construction projects from pre‑construction through completion.
Drive consistent performance across safety, quality, programme and cost, aligned with the company's core principles.
Collaborate closely with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants to maintain efficiency and high standards.
Implement operational processes that reflect the company’s commitment to transparency, innovation, and non‑adversarial working.
Ensure projects uphold the company’s reputation for delivering safely, on time, and within budget.
What You Need
Proven experience in a senior operational role within the construction sector.
Strong leadership abilities with the capability to manage multiple fast‑moving projects.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management across client teams and supply chain partners.
A solutions‑driven mindset aligned with the company's “positive can‑do attitude” and ownership ethos.
Deep understanding of construction delivery, risk management, logistics and compliance.
The ability to embed operational consistency across diverse construction environments, including industrial, commercial, education and retail sectors.
