Operations Manager, UK, Field, Pharma, Cell Therapy
I am actively recruiting for a Multinational Pharmaceutical company who are hiring a Haematology Cell Therapy Operations Manager (CTOM), on a 12-month contract.
In this role, you would be primarily responsible for developing and executing onboarding plans and providing oversight and support to ensure operational excellence and seamless delivery of their cell therapies.
This role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to gain launch experience and play a key role in realising the value of the company’s cell therapy portfolio as part of a dynamic, collaborative team who are passionate about serving patients.
This position is field based. This will be reviewed once all CAR T sites have been onboarded.
Key Responsibilities
Work with the local team to define and execute the affiliate specific CAR T strategy.
• Support the development of forecasting plans.
• Collate site capacity to ensure accurate slot allocation and optimisation at national level.
• Identify potential gaps and develop and execute initiatives to address capacity constraints as required.
• Collaborate closely with the local CAR T team to:
o Facilitate ongoing operational support of CAR T sites and identify potential opportunities and challenges with regard to capacity, capabilities, and structures.
o Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders to drive high levels of engagement and ensure a positive site experience.
o Proactively collect site feedback, monitor incidents, and identify customer needs.
o Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve customer issues (e.g., portal issues).
o Develop action plans for repeated logistical issues (e.g., transport of products).
• Drive implementation and adoption of the ordering platform and provide input on their Cell Therapy Digital Platform improvements.

Qualifications & Experience
• University degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Healthcare Management or similar
• Experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology/medical device industry, or healthcare consultancy background, preferably in a project management or project coordinator role
Competency & Skills
• Strong project and process management skills, tech/IT-savvy.
• Strategic and analytical thinker with strong communication skills; fluent English.
• Adept at the processing of comprehensive contracts and thinking in legal terms.
• Skilled team player, with a collaborative mindset and proven experience in team support, coordination and/or cross-functional leadership
• Agile learner with the ability to work effectively in complex, rapidly changing environments and to prioritise effectively.
• Understanding of core Company policies and procedures.
• Willingness/ability to travel.
• Budget management.
