Project & Service Operations Coordinator

Job Title: Project & Service Operations Coordinator
Location: Hursley, Winchester – 5 days per week onsite Contract Type: Inside IR35

Role Overview:
The Project & Service Operations Coordinator will play a key role in supporting project planning, operational workflows, and service lifecycle activities. This position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks across project and service management domains.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Management Support:
  • Assist in project planning and scheduling, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Conduct research, data gathering, and documentation to support project objectives.
  • Maintain and update tools, systems, and processes for project tracking and reporting.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and track action items to closure.
  • Apply best practices in project and operational workflows to drive efficiency.

Service Operations Support:
  • Support the service lifecycle, including onboarding new services and implementing updates.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including SLAs, process guides, and operational manuals.
  • Assist with incident and request management, ensuring timely resolution and escalation where necessary.
  • Coordinate operational readiness activities for new or updated services.
  • Monitor service performance, identify issues, and escalate as appropriate.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for service processes and workflows.

Skills & Experience Required:
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with experience in project coordination.
  • Familiarity with IT service management processes (e.g., ITIL framework preferred).
  • Proficiency in documentation and reporting tools (MS Office, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable Qualifications:
  • ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in service operations and project support roles within IT environments.
