Hays Marketing are pleased to be working with a tech and software business who are looking for a Paid Search Specialist to run high-impact campaigns across LinkedIn and Meta. The roles objectives are to drive pipeline and brand visibility and you’ll play a key role in executing and optimising paid social strategies, working closely with content, product marketing, and regional leads.
This is a high-impact, performance-focused role for someone who loves to build, test, scale, and improve B2B paid social campaigns that move the needle on revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, build, and manage Google Search and Display campaigns across multiple markets (UK, US, SA, EU, ANZ)
  • Continuously optimise campaigns based on performance (CPC, CTR, conversion rate, CPL, CAC, ROAS)
  • Collaborate with our content, design, and product marketing teams to create high-performing ad copy and assets
  • Own and improve keyword targeting, bidding strategies, and negative keyword lists
  • Regularly review search term reports, conduct competitor audits, and identify new opportunities
  • Work closely with regional marketing managers to align campaign strategy with sector-specific goals
  • Provide clear monthly reporting with insights, learnings, and next steps

The Candidate

  • 5+ years of hands-on Google Ads experience (Search + Display) in a B2B SaaS or multi-product environment
  • Strong understanding of conversion tracking, attribution, and how paid search fits into broader demand gen strategy
  • Experience using tools like Google Ads Editor, ahrefs, SEMrush, GA4, HubSpot, and/or Google Tag Manager
  • Analytical mindset — confident with numbers, trends, and storytelling through data
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and handle multiple campaigns with tight timelines
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, GA4, and attribution tools is a plus.
