Take ownership of online store and customer journey to drive growth

Your new company
My client are an exciting retailer, with both an online and in-store presence. With a reputation for quality products and great customer service, they have grown steadily over the past 10 years. We are partnering together to recruit the role of eCommerce Manager based in their Bristol Head Office on a hybrid basis.

Your new role
As eCommerce Manager, you will take ownership of the online store (Shopify platform) and the full end-to-end customer experience from website merchandising and trading, to on-site navigation, campaigns, and re-targeting off-site (email marketing). You will ensure the brand look and feel of the site, as well as its functionality and ability to drive online growth.
You will:
  • Manage product uploads, on-site merchandising, listings, cross-sells, upsells and product recommendations to boost discovery and conversions.
  • Launch new products and seasonal campaign activity on-site, planning for key trading moments
  • Direct on-site customer experience, improving product pages, navigation and checkout flow, regularly testing improvements
  • Monitor site performance to react quickly to any changes, and align with wider business for sales forecasts and opportunities for growth
  • Tracking and reporting on key metrics to drive improvements: conversion rates, AOV, abandon carts and repeat purchases.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Significant prior experience in e-commerce (including trading and platform management)
  • Strong hands-on Shopify experience
  • Solid understanding of the full ecommerce customer journey, including email marketing platforms for loyalty/retargeting
  • Good data skills with confidence using GA4
  • Track record optimising conversions and driving online sales growth

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of £50,000 - £60,000 plus benefits including holiday, staff discount and career progression. You will also have the opportunity to own and grow the e-commerce performance of a growing UK retailer.
