You’ll be working with a well-established educational institution in Stafford that is seeking a proactive and experienced Schools Administrator/Office Manager to join their team on a temporary basis. This role plays a vital part in supporting the day-to-day operations of the school office, ensuring smooth administrative processes and excellent communication between staff, students, and parents.

As the Schools Administrator/Office Manager, you will be responsible for managing the front office and providing comprehensive administrative support. Your duties will include:

- Coordinating daily office activities and maintaining accurate records.
- Handling communications including emails, phone calls, and parent enquiries.
- Supporting attendance monitoring and pupil data management.
- Assisting with financial administration such as invoicing and budget tracking.
- Liaising with staff, external agencies, and suppliers.
- Ensuring compliance with safeguarding and data protection policies.
- Supporting HR-related tasks including recruitment paperwork and staff records.
This is a full-time temporary role, with working hours typically between 8:00am and 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you should have:

- Previous experience working in a school office or similar administrative environment.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and school management systems (e.g. SIMS).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- A clear enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
