Your new role

As Office Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in the day‑to‑day running of the business, acting as the first point of contact for visitors, suppliers and clients. This is a varied, hands‑on position that combines front‑of‑house responsibilities with office administration and sales support.
Key responsibilities include managing a busy multi‑line switchboard and reception area, delivering excellent customer service, and providing general administrative support across the business. You will support the sales function through database administration, producing weekly sales reports, raising invoices and processing payments. The role also involves assisting with the planning and administration of events, exhibitions and company gala dinners, making you an integral part of high‑profile industry activities.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an office administration or similar support role
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, accustomedness approach
  • Confidence working independently, using initiative and judgement
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and database/spreadsheet management
  • Experience supporting sales teams, including reporting, invoicing or data administration
  • Ability to manage a busy reception area and multi‑line switchboard effectively
  • High attention to detail with strong problem‑solving skills
  • A proactive and flexible attitude, with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
  • Experience supporting events, exhibitions or corporate functions would be advantageous
