Nursery Operations Manager/EYTS/QTS or Relevant EYFS Management Qualifications/Full-Time/Across 4 or 5 days


Are you a dedicated and experienced individual with a passion for early childhood education and operational excellence? We are seeking a dynamic Nursery Operations Manager to join a lovely nursery team to support them with the smooth running of their nursery. This role is separate from a Nursery Manager role and is not a floor-based role. You will be based across two sites of the nursery, splitting your time between both and supporting them with the functions of the settings.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, across multiple sites, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for all children.
  • Oversee the HR functions of the nursery.
  • Manage and support nursery staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high standards of care and compliance with regulations.
  • Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and ensure cost-effective practices.
  • Foster strong relationships with parents, addressing their concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Ensure the nursery is well-maintained, with resources and supplies effectively managed.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within a nursery or early years setting.
  • Strong understanding of early childhood education and care standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and financial planning.
  • Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive environment for children and staff.
  • Good computer skills, including experience using Microsoft functions such as Word and Excel
