Job Title: Nursery Manager
Location: South Liverpool
Area: Allerton Pay: £40,000
Job Description
Hays Education are working with a private nursery based in Allerton who are seeking a Nursery Manager to join them on a full-time basis.
The role will involve:
- Lead, motivate, and supervise nursery staff
- Manage recruitment, inductions, training, appraisals, and staff rotas
- Promote safeguarding, professionalism, and effective teamwork
- Ensure delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Monitor children’s learning, development, and emotional wellbeing
- Support inclusive practice and meet individual children’s needs
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted, safeguarding, health and safety, and statutory requirements
- Maintain accurate records, policies, and procedures
- Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead where required
Previous Experience Required
- Previous experience working in a leadership position in a nursery or childcare setting
- Level 4 or 5 in Leadership management
- Level 5 in childcare
