Deputy Nursery Manager Job in Exeter
Hays Education are proud to be supporting a well-established nursery in Exeter with the recruitment of a Deputy Nursery Manager to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional who is looking to take the next step in their career or continue their leadership journey within a supportive and nurturing nursery environment. Working closely with the Nursery Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the setting, ensuring children receive outstanding care and early years education.
The Role
As Deputy Nursery Manager, you will support the leadership and management of the nursery, helping to maintain high standards of care, learning and safeguarding. You will lead by example, support staff development, oversee operations when required, and contribute to creating a positive environment for children, families and colleagues.
What You'll Need
- Level 3 Early Years Qualification (essential)
- Previous nursery leadership or senior practitioner experience
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements
- Experience supporting, mentoring or supervising staff
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A passion for delivering high-quality early years education and care
