Your new role

As a Nuclear Inspector, you will perform essential inspections, tests, and quality assurance procedures on materials, parts, and components used in manufacturing for the nuclear industry. You will ensure compliance with company procedures, Nuclear Standards, and Regulations, contributing to maintaining the impeccable standards of the organisation. This role involves close collaboration with internal and external teams, detailed documentation of inspection results, and actively supporting process improvements.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and quality plans.
  • Experience with precision inspection tools, such as micrometers and verniers.
  • A background in performing inspections for precision components and fabrications.
  • Familiarity with nuclear industry inspections (desired but not essential).
  • Knowledge of ISO9001; familiarity with ASME PED is advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing methods, quality engineering, and process improvement.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • A self-motivated and methodical approach to tasks, with the capability to work independently and solve problems effectively.
