National Account Executive, FMCG (Food), Surrey, £50,000 + Bonus, Immediate Start!
Our client, an incredibly well-established supplier of ambient food products, are looking to recruit an energetic, personable candidate to join their (primarily) office-based Sales team. Based in a fantastic Surrey location, with the ability to work one day a week from home, this is an incredible opportunity for the right candidate.
Our client have been established for over 40 years, and supply a premium product range to major retailers/foodservice customers across the UK. Their HQ boasts 30 FTE (including a couple of National Account Managers) and, as a result of an internal move, they are seeking the right candidate to support these NAM's in a National Account Executive capacity. In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the relationship(s) with a small portfolio of Grocery clients
- Supporting and executing customer business plans
- Owning P&L for assigned client accounts (ensuring volume/value/profit targets are met)
- Expanding product listings/distribution/promotional space with assigned accounts
- Conducting regular business reviews to diversify/increase customer spend
- Monitoring competitor activity/spotting emerging trends
- Presenting performance updates/growth opportunities in internal/external meetingsOur client have been established for over 40 years, and supply a premium product range to major retailers/foodservice customers across the UK. - Building strong working relationships with internal Marketing/Supply Chain/Finance teams, in addition to external Buyers/Planners
- Supporting NAM's with any tasks required on their larger client accounts
- Generating new business (c/25% of the role)
In order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:
- Experience in owning external Grocery relationships in a NAE capacity
- Experience in conducting business reviews to ensure customer satisfaction/increase customer spend
- Commercial acumen with a strong understanding of P&L management
- Strong influencing/communication skills
- Proven track record in delivering against sales targets
- Full, clean UK driving licence (and own transport)
