Multi Trade Operative | West Midlands | Up to £46k per annum

An established and respected housing provider is expanding its in‑house Property Maintenance service and is seeking experienced Multi Trade Operatives across Wolverhampton, Stoke and the wider Staffordshire region. Your new role
You will play a key role in ensuring that thousands of homes across the region remain safe, comfortable and well‑maintained. Working in both occupied and empty properties, you will diagnose and complete a wide range of repairs and small projects, including:
- Carpentry & Joinery: doors, kitchens, floorboards
- Plumbing: bathroom suites, taps, toilets
- Plastering: walls, ceilings, full rooms
- Decorating: painting walls, ceilings and woodwork
- Aids & Adaptations: depending on your skillset
What you'll need to succeed
We’re seeking skilled, reliable and accustomedness tradespeople who can bring a strong main trade supported by additional skills across other disciplines. You will need:
- A relevant trade qualification (please highlight this on your CV)
- Good knowledge of site safety and safe working practices
- A full UK driving licence
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive, solution‑focused approach
What you'll get in return
- £37,500 basic salary
- Performance bonus up to £5,000 per year
- Average £4,000 per year in out‑of‑hours payments
