An opportunity has become available for an experienced Multi‑Trade Carpenter to join a busy social housing repairs team working across occupied properties in the Northampton area. The role involves carrying out a wide range of carpentry repairs along with associated multi‑trade tasks to ensure homes are maintained to a high standard.

Your new role

• Carry out day‑to‑day carpentry repairs in occupied domestic properties.
• Complete associated multi‑trade tasks such as basic plumbing, patch plastering, tiling, and minor decorating where required.
• Work professionally and respectfully within tenants’ homes.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
• Maintain accurate records of completed works using the organisation’s systems.
• Represent the service positively and provide excellent customer care.

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in domestic carpentry or multi‑trade repair work.
• Experience working in occupied social housing properties is highly desirable.
• Strong carpentry skills with the ability to complete additional trades to a competent level.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Good communication skills and a customer‑focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
