Your new role:
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Multi-Trade Operative. The ideal candidate will have a primary trade qualification but will also be confident in performing maintenance tasks across various other trades. This role involves working in both void and tenanted social housing properties, ensuring that all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks, including but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and general building work.
- Conduct inspections and assessments of properties to identify necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks in void and tenanted properties.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service to tenants, addressing their maintenance concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Collaborate with other team members and contractors to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A recognised qualification in a primary trade (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in carpentry, plumbing, or electrical).
- Proven experience in a multi-trade role, with the ability to perform tasks across various trades.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations related to maintenance and repair work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Full UK driving licence (preferred).
